SELF CARE FOR SCHOOL LIBRARIANS

It is so easy to get overwhelmed and stressed out. This can lead to feelings of hopelessness and depression, particularly during this time of the year when the school year is almost over but not quite done yet. Remember to take time for you. Reflect on all of the positive things you have accomplished this year no matter how small and insignificant they may seem to be. For example, if you launched a new book club or if you ordered new books to create a more diverse collection you have a reason to feel good. Pause and breathe!
